INTRAMURALS
Cornhole and ping pong with Mrs. Dornon are growing in popularity during intramurals on Fridays.

NUMBERS ON THE LINE
Students in Mrs. Vanover's sixth-grade math class recently displayed their knowledge of the number system in class. They used their knowledge of positives, negatives, and their relationships with zero, as well as the understanding of opposites, to create a large number line. That's hands-on learning!

The new puzzle table in the library is getting lots of use! Look at that teamwork!

DOUGHNUT TRY THIS WITHOUT PROPER PUNCTUATION
Students in the classes of Ms. Alex Young have been working hard on their argumentative writings. In their latest activity, students started designing doughnuts, while also enjoying glazed treats, and describing them in as much detail as possible. With the progression of the activity, students will be defending their doughnut flavors and designs, attempting to prove which is the best! Wow! What a fun and innovative activity for students!

interactive bulletin boards, SmartBoard games, doodle notes, a text feature scavenger hunt, headbands, and task cards. Learning is an adventure at WMS!
